Sydney Herndon is a visual artist originally from Russellville, Kentucky. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and a Bachelor of Arts in Ceramics from Western Kentucky University in 2018. Her work has been featured in several art publications, including Pikchur Magazine, Candyfloss Magazine, and We Are Zanna, a London-based contemporary art magazine. She has also exhibited in shows such as The Women in the Arts Exhibit in New York City and the 2019 Art Juxtaposed Exhibit in Rosendale, New York.
Sydney’s artistic practice centers on painting, utilizing both traditional oil techniques and digital media. Her work explores themes related to millennial women using symbolic imagery that offers viewers a window into the psychological and emotional narratives of her subjects.
Currently, Sydney works full time as a tattoo artist at Permanent Paint Tattoo and Fine Art Studio in downtown Bowling Green. This role has allowed her to continue her passion for visual storytelling while collaborating closely with clients to transform their ideas into lasting, meaningful artwork.
